Christopher Lim is a board registered Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has completed training with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons – FRACDS(OMS). He has undergraduate medical and dental degrees from Melbourne and Sydney and completed advanced surgical training in Christchurch and Hamilton, New Zealand. Chris has the privilege of being trained by highly experienced surgeons in both centres. The qualification FRACDS(OMS) is the gold standard specialist qualification in Australia and New Zealand for Maxillofacial Sugeons.
Chris is also a consultant surgeon in Christchurch Public Hospital and main sub-speciality interest lies in temporomandibular joint surgery.
Prior to surgical training, Chris also passed the general stream FRACDS with electives in Oral Medicine and Pathology. He also has a general fellowship with the RACDS.
